Terms of Service

Last updated: July 25, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Maison Lumière website and Champagne delivery service (the "Service"), operated by Maison Lumière LLC ("Maison Lumière", "we", "us"). By browsing the site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility — you must be 21 or older

The Service is available only to persons aged 21 or over located in jurisdictions where we deliver. By using the Service you represent that you are at least 21 years old. A valid government-issued photo ID is verified at the door for every delivery. If the recipient cannot present acceptable ID, or appears intoxicated, the courier will decline to hand over the order and a restocking fee may apply.

3. How the Service works

Maison Lumière presents a curated cellar of Champagne held in local cold storage. All alcoholic beverage sales are solicited, processed, and fulfilled by licensed retail partners in the state of delivery; Maison Lumière provides marketing, logistics coordination, and courier services on their behalf. Product availability, vintages, and editions may vary by location and are void where prohibited.

4. Orders and payment

5. Delivery

6. Cancellations, returns, and refunds

You may cancel an order without charge until a courier has been dispatched. Once dispatched, orders may not be cancelled. Due to alcohol regulations, we cannot accept returns of delivered bottles except where the product is faulty (e.g. cork taint, damage in transit); in those cases contact us within 48 hours and we will replace the bottle or refund it.

7. Responsible consumption

We support responsible enjoyment of Champagne. Do not use the Service to purchase alcohol for minors or for anyone who is intoxicated. Please drink responsibly; do not drink and drive.

8. Intellectual property

All content on the site — text, imagery, marks, and design — belongs to Maison Lumière LLC or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission. Producer names and bottle imagery are the property of their respective houses and are used to identify the goods offered.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maison Lumière and its partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version; continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced on the site.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.
